CareerBuilder RSS feeds allow you to integrate a feed of the most recent jobs from our database of over 1.5 million jobs with your software or website. The RSS feed provides a way to retrieve data for a specific job search. These services are free to use and available to anyone.
CareerBuilder RSS feeds are constantly being updated with new features that will be documented on this site. Please contact us at any time if you have any questions, to report bugs, or to leave feedback. Our email address is: api@careerbuilder.com
[edit] Getting Started
To get started, you can head over to our rss feeds and start consuming our feeds. If you are interested in becoming a CareerBuilder Partner to make money from showing jobs on your site, we suggest you check out our MyJobStream product for publishers
[edit] RSS Parameters
- LR Code - LR Code - code used to give the site's look and feel for job details views (lr=).
- RSSID (or SiteID) - RSSID or SiteID - required for all calls to an CareerBuilder RSS Feed.
- Domain Out - "domain="; this is used to change the domain in the rss output for the job details page.
- Domain to Call - All requests should be made to rtq.careerbuilder.com
- City Search - Search Jobs by City
- State Search - Search Jobs by State.
- Country Search - Country Search - note you must pass CHL=IL on the QS to work correctly.
- Zip Code - Zip code based search.
- Employment Type - Search by employment type: part-time;full-time, etc.
- Keyword Search - Get jobs from a Keyword Search.
- Radius Search - Enter the raidus to your city or zip based search in miles.
- Job Category - Search Jobs by Category.
- DDTitle - De-dupe the Job Title in the RSS Feed.
- DDCompany - De-dupe the Company Name in the RSS Feed.
- GeoIP - If no geography is specified, we will use the IP address of the calling page (client browser if used in Javascript) to get back jobs for the client's locale.
